Home care agencies provide a variety of services that allow individuals to remain in their
homes. Licensed home health agencies provide skilled medical care, while other home care
providers offer non-medical services such as homemaking and companion services.
Other companies provide home monitoring and call systems and/or home-call
assurance services.
Geriatric Care Management
Geriatric care managers are employed by individuals or family members to assess,
coordinate, and monitor services for elderly and disabled individuals. Care managers are
liaisons to family members, doctors, banks, and community resources.
